Adam Scarf

Photography and Video

Adam Scarf is a diverse and passionate photographer and cinematographer who’s been mastering a camera since the young age of 10 when he began photographing and filming skateboarding videos for the companies he was sponsored by. Scarf earned his first skateboarding sponsorship at just 8 years old. His passion for photography developed during high school after learning techniques in the school’s darkroom, which eventually lead to a passion for digital imagery.

Currently freelancing full time, Adam has created content for companies like David Jones, The Australia China Business Council, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Bridge Climb, Carefree, Telstra, St George, Spotify, Fliteboard, Bausele, Bitzer, Commonwealth Bank, RedBull, plus Street Art Murals Australia and Amnesty International, which have resulted in great respect for his work. Scarf has worked tirelessly with artists on music videos, interviews and photoshoots. Big names like TYGA, L Fresh The Lion, Borns, Hermitude, Method Man, Redman, Miya, Blackstreet, Atmosphere, Thundamentals and Sticky Fingers to name a few.

Diversifying into weddings, fashion, commercial/corporate, aerial, video, landscape and music has expanded his love for the art. Adam is undeniably notorious after a rather unique wedding photo he took and posted on social media went viral, as well as an epic overhead shot of Coogee Beach which also was liked, shared, and commented on by thousands of new followers. Adam’s got a unique perspective for photography; one which we definitely had to have on board with us here at Scratches Records.
