Bonita is a music and vinyl lover through and through. She is a musician herself but loves digging the crates and finding musical gems. Growing up with a father who is an avid vinyl collector she was exposed to a plethora of musical knowledge from a young age. She has a fierce passion for music from a wide range of genres. She was the National Account Manager at Universal Music then became the Vinyl Specialist. This involved managing the stock replenishment and stock availability for all Universal records imported into Australia from overseas for the indies and key accounts to sell in store. Import quantities were based on sales data, key gifting periods, tour dates etc. This grew her already vast music catalogue knowledge and allowed her analyse what sells on wax and how to pitch it to the independent retailers and other major accounts like JB-HIFI. 

Throughout her 4 years at Universal Music she also helped run discount campaigns, in-store events/performances/in-store signings for both local and international artists as well as pre-order incentives and sales strategies in collaboration with the marketing team. She takes pride in bringing music to the people that is adequately graded and priced to ensure the best customer experience. As she is always wanting to help the independent retailers keep the dream alive, she is pumped to be a part of the Scratches Records Crew.
